COVERAGE

PAStar provides 4 plans with different coverage limits. It is also available for individual or family coverage. Each plan provides a comprehensive coverage including:

Accidental Dealth/Permanent Disablement

You will receive cash up to the insured amount in the event of Accidental Death or Permanent Disablement
Table of Benefits

Daily Hospitalisation Allowance

You will receive a daily cash allowance up to 365 days if you are hospitalised for > 24 hours due to an accident

Family/Parental Allowance

Your family will receive a monthly income for 12 months in the event of accidental death of you and/or your spouse

Medical Expenses

You will be reimbursed for medical expenses following an accident up to the insured amount per policy year.
Your child(ren) will be covered for this benefit as well if Family Plan is selected.
Medical expense for Dengue Fever is also covered up to 50% of section limit, 14 days waiting period applies.

Weekly Income Benefit

You will receive a steady income in the event of temporary disablement up to 104 weeks (only for persons who are gainfully employed)

Personal Effects & Belongings

You can claim for your personal effects and belongings damaged in an accident (per policy year)

Survivor Benefit (For Family Plan Only)

Your surviving insured family members could enjoy an extended 6 months cover for free in the event of accidental death of you and/or your spouse.

Child Day-Care Benefit (For Family Plan Only) provides a monthly cash benefit upto 12 months for child(ren) aged 12 years old or younger in the event of accidental death of you and/or your spouse

Daily Hospitalisation Allowance from Sickness provides a daily allowance up to 60 days in the event of hospitalisation due to an illness (excluding all pre-existing illnesses and excess of 24 hours is applicable to Insured Persons aged 51 & above)

Education Fund (For Family Plan Only) provides $25,000 for your child's education in the event of accidental death of you and/or your spouse

Parent's Cover provides your parent $25,000 for accidental death/permanent disability

CLASSIFICATION OF OCCUPATION

Class I
Persons engaged in indoor & non-manual work in non-hazardous places.
Example: Accountant, Office Clerk, Architect (Indoor), Barber/ Hairdresser, Beautician, Dentist/Doctor, Home-maker, Lawyer, Nurse, Indoor Sales/Marketing, Retiree (more than 62 years old), Surgeon (Non-veterinary), Tailor, Full-Time Student (more than 16 years old).

Class II
Persons engaged in work of an outdoor or supervisory nature or involved occasionally in manual work whose duties do not involve the use of tools or machinery or exposure to any special hazard.
Example: Chauffeur, Decorator (Supervisory), Engineer, Foreman (Non-Construction), Grocer, Outdoor Sales/Marketing, Surveyor, Insurance Agent/ Property Agent, Assembly Line Production Worker (Not using tools & machinery), Unarmed Security Guard, Fitness/Gym Instructor.

Class III
Persons engaged in manual work, involving the use of tools or machinery but not of a particularly hazardous nature.
Example: Baker/Chef, Butcher/Fishmonger, Carpenter (Not using woodworking machinery), Contractor, Courier, Driver, Farmer, Hawker/Market Stallholder, Motor Repairer, Painter (Not involving work at heights), Plumber, Veterinary Surgeon.

Subject to approval by the company, restricted cover during off-duty hours may be considered for Air Crew, Pilot, NSmen and Military/ Navy/Airforce personnel.

All other professions and occupations not mentioned above must be referred to the company for approval EXCEPT for the following occupations which will be declined:
Industrial workers using heavy machinery; woodworking related or any occupation involving aviation activities; armed services personnel; police force personnel, fire fighters; construction/unskilled workers; ship crew or workers on board vessels, stevedores, shipbreakers; occupations involving diving, platforms, oil and gas rig and/or offshore work; occupations involving work at heights/underground and/or handling of hazardous chemical/electricity; professional sports teams; professional divers and jockeys; welders and the like.

ELIGIBILITY

Any Singaporeans, Permanent Residents or Foreigners with valid employment passes who are domiciled in Singapore whose age next birth is between 16 to 70 years may apply.

Children between 6 months to 21 years old or extended to 25 years old for those in full-time tertiary institutions can also be enrolled in the Family Plan.

For children between 16 to 21 years who wants to enroll in an Individual Plan, only Plan A is available.
